Project 52 {Cold}

I knew I should have taken some pictures on Sunday morning when the oak tree out back was surrounded by fog. The perfect image of ‘cold’. But I chose to cuddle my kids under the blankets and just watch it instead. Plan B: a ‘cold’ beer after a long, and kind of nutty, day. And a little nod to my alma mater, Chico State! Photography isn’t always pretty… just sayin’.

This is fantastic! What’s not pretty about that? Stunning light, awesome focus, great DOF, and a neat twist on “cold”!

i looove these shots…particularly the 2nd one! i think they’re quite pretty, actually…crisp, clean, simple, and that frosty golden color is perfection. (someone else in the series posted their favorite cold beverages too, and i had commented on her post that they reminded me of some shots i’d taken of shiner bock. cold beers all around ;) )
